Men's Study
When King
David was about to die, his words to his son, Solomon, who would be
king after him, were very telling. “Be strong, and show yourself
a man.” Unfortunately for the church, many professing Christian
men need to receive the exhortation of David. Showing ourselves to be
men of God requires us to devote ourselves to the study and application
of His word. We need to be equipped and encouraged from the Scriptures
so that we can properly fulfill our roles as the sons, brothers,
husbands, fathers, servants and leaders in the church that we have been
created to be. We need to walk closely together, confessing our sins,
repenting of our erroneous ideas of manliness, praying for one another
and being strengthened by the Holy Spirit to grow in grace and holiness.
Please join us on the fourth Saturday of every month from
9:30-11:30am at the portico office (146 N. Grand Street, Orange 92866)
as we endeavor to be strong in Christ and show ourselves to be men.
